UVA Thread. Let The String Of Must-Win Games Begin
1/27/2011 3:44:32 PM
The season has little room for error. The Terps are mired in the middle of the pack in the ACC and, as we all know, the ACC stinks this year.
The Terps need to get to 10 conference wins at a minimum. With two home losses already, the Terps will need to finish 4-4 on the road- at a minimum to get to the 10-win plateau.
It starts tonight. UVA has no inside game and is only capable of winning if they are hitting from beyond the arc.
Three-point defense is NOT Maryland's strong suit. The Terps will need to be aggressive with the perimeter defense. No zone! Offensively, the recipe is simple: Jordan Williams then Jordan Williams and then more Jordan Williams. UVa cannot match up with him.
That's it. If the Terps execute that game plan, they will win.
