Terps-NC State Preview & Thread

2/17/2010 2:23:12 PM I know it's tough on the players, but how cool is it to be able to watch a Terps hoops game every other day?! I realize most of us expect an easy win tonight, but I don't think it'll be that easy. I hope to be wrong, but this is the still the same Wolfpack team that beat Duke by double digits. They are dangerous despite the fact they have lost 4 in a row.

Our Terps confidence must be riding high after bouncing back on Monday night to dominate UVA. I'm happy the arguments on the site are more about Cliff Tucker vs. Sean Mosley vs. Eric Hayes, rather than breaking down the RPI. (By the way, we'll all get our chance to see Tucker when he gets starter minutes next season. We'll see if he has what it takes. Until then, this is GV, LM, and EH's team. Let them start and let them lead.)

Back to tonight. This game is just as big as the past two. We can get to 8-3 in the league with a win, plus it would be another one on the road. The boys cannot take this team lightly and as long as we shoot relatively well, I think we should win. With a loss, we are back to breaking down the RPI and beginning to sweat. I have faith in our seniors after they got the job done Monday night. Just come out and play tough Terp defense and share the ball.

For those looking for ways to watch the game, if anyone can find a link for web viewing, we'd appreciate you posting it on this thread. A reminder for those watching in the D.C. area. The game is on Comcast Sportsnet, but I believe they will be joining the Terps late because they are showing the Bullets-T'wolves game first. I'm not sure how CSN will work things in Baltimore.

One last note. Jeremy, myself, and our 'class of 96/97' boys will be at the Georgia Tech game on Saturday. It's our annual hoops reunion. Let us know if any of you will be there, we'd love to say hi. Well, I'm speaking for myself, but I'm sure Jer would too!
