Terps Land #7 Center, Michal Cekovsky, In Class of 2014 Out Of Nowhere

4/7/2014 10:32:04 AM I've only seen it confirmed on Twitter, but it appears that the Terps have landed Slovenian big man, Michal Cekovsky to the already robust class of 2014.  Cekovsky is listed as the number #39 prospect in the class.  He was rumored to be decided between Louisville and Arizona so this announcement is a major surprise.

If you look on YouTube, you will see an athletic big with a nice touch and some back to the basket moves.  He's got good quickness and can get up and down the floor.  He needs to put on some weight, but his upside is off the charts. With Trayvon Reed coming in as well, the Terps now have more length than we know what to do with.  He looks better than what I saw of Alex Len three years ago.

This is great news for the program although it appears that someone is either losing their scholarship (unlikely) or transferring as I believe we already have filled our allotment for next year.  My guess is either Faust or Cleare are leaving.
