Terps Finally Win A Close One

Terrell Stoglin bounced back with an effective performance as did Jordan Williams.  Williams set a Maryland record with consecutive double doubles.

As encouraging as the performance felt; Clemson was able to expose (for me) why Maryland has such trouble holding on to games late.  Jordan Williams is the only reliable scorer the Terps have and he is a huge liability down the stretch.

The Terps are going to have to get steady play from their back court if they hope to turn today's win into a streak of victories.   UVA and GaTech loom next week and both games are winnable.  If the Terps can reveal off consecutive road wins, I will start to believe.

That will give Maryland the momentum it needs to beat Duke in 10 days time.
