Maryland - Towson Thread

Can you feel the excitement leading up to tomorrow's titillating Maryland - Towson game?  Me either.

Who cares about these kind of games anyway.  All major conference schools do it and aside from the odd Appalachian State v Michigan or Middle Tennessee State v Maryland (twice!); these games are boring and offer no upside for the big school. A win is expected, a loss is a catastrophe.

Now Towson is actually decent for a 1-AA school (or whatever it is called now).  They trounced Villanova which is usually a powerhouse 1-AA.  Regardless, Maryland SHOULD feast on the inferior quality.

As fans, the only thing we should look to is the performance of the offense now that Danny O'Brien has his two favorite targets back.  He needs to start clicking again and moving the ball down the field.

As for the other side of the ball, the defense is brutally bad and regardless of tomorrow's performance, will remain so.

Next week, Clemson comes to town and the Terps will have an opportunity to turn their season around. Until then, they need to work on getting their act together.
