Sam Cassell Jr Likely Ineligible

I've been reading through everyone's comments in the previous thread and there's not much else to say.  Cassell seemed to be the kind of kid who basketball coursing through his veins and it would have been fun and satisfying to see him develop.  While not official, it's not looking good.

The loss will be minimized, of course, if Dez Wells is given a waiver to play this year.  However, it's unlikely that Cassell will go to a junior college and remain committed to the Terps. He'll likely transfer to a school that allows for "partial qualifiers".  I have no idea what that even means but it basically means he's gone unless the NCAA reverses its predicted course.

It's Dez or bust at this point.
