Maryland vs Miami Gameday Thread

9/5/2011 7:27:45 AM After the firing of the coach who saved the program, a less than exciting new coach, and a massive scandal ravaging an opponent; we're here.

It's game day. Rain is expected; but so is a sellout.  Getting 54,000 people into Byrd Stadium on Labor Day is no easy task and the University is to be commended for its efforts.

Despite having 8 players serving suspensions, the Miami Hurricanes will be ready.  They have nothing to lose.  Because all of those players are out, the Canes will have no pressure on their shoulders.

Maryland will not be able to say the same thing.  Expectations are high after QB Danny O'Brien turned in arguably the best freshman year of any Maryland QB ever.  Sure, the Terps have lost some experience on defense, but fans, alumni, and even Vegas think MD will win.

Good teams do what they are supposed to do.  The Terps are supposed to win tonight.  Can they get it done?
