Maryland - Holy Cross

1/8/2008 6:20:38 PM I have a work event tonight, so I won't be able to watch the game or comment on it. But fret not. I have asked Holy Cross alum, Bill Simmons to step in and post in my place. Just kidding. I'll probably make a post tomorrow gleaning whatever insights I can eke out of the box score.

In the meantime, I figured I would post something so that my little Turtle Soupers will have a thread for the game.

Now I've heard about Holy Cross having some good big men and that their style of play is bad for the Terps. I don't care. There are no excuses to lose this game. In fact, anything less than a double digit loss will be considered a disappointment. We need to keep up the momentum as we head to Blacksburg this weekend.

From here on out, the Terps can expect to lose at UNC, at Duke, and (I can't believe I am saying this) at Clemson. By my calculations, that means we can afford to lose two additional games besides those three if we plan on dancing in March. Everything else we more or less need. Ouch.
