#12 Maryland vs Minnesota

1/2/2015 7:38:34 PM The Terps will try to avoid a letdown against a game Minnesota squad.  The Terps gutted out a tremendous victory in East Lansing earlier this week.  The game had everything.  Poor play.  Dramatic shots. A Come-from-behind win.  Now the question is can the Terps keep it going.

On paper, Minnesota is a good team.  They are second in the nation in assists and top 20 in scoring and field goal percentage.  Their only losses are to top 20 teams (Louisville and St Johns) and a tough Big Ten opener at Purdue. That last loss is perplexing but you can be sure that the Gophers won't want to start 0-2 in the conference and will be ready to play in College Park.  Maryland cannot afford a slow start.

Minnesota's coach is Rick Pitino's son and it will be interesting to see how his team plays.
